   CH 431- Instrumental Analysis         

   Syllabus

Development of instrumental methods of analysis, including electroanalytical, spectrophotometric and chromatographic techniques. Instrumental methods included are potentiometric; coulometric; voltametric; conductometric; IR, UV-Visible, NMR, Atomic Absorption, Emission, Raman and mass spectrometric; gas chomatograph, HPLC and thermal methods. Offered in alternate years.
Laboratory: Investigation of methods and techniques in chromatography; IR, UV-Vis and AA spectrophotometry; polarography and voltammetry; and other methods.
Prerequisite: CH401
