ABOUT THE MUSIC DIRECTOR

DELVYN CASE has conducted the ENC Choral Union for five years. In 2005 he opened the choir to the general public, and since that time the group has grown in size from 30 students to a 60+ member college-community ensemble.

He has collaborated with numerous organizations in Quincy to expand the musical life of the city.  In 2009 he co-ordinated the city’s outdoor Summerfest Concert Series, which presented free concerts at the Ruth Gordon Amphitheatre. He also founded the Quincy Summer Singers in 2009, a 65-member multi-cultural and multi-generational community choir.  He is the founder and music director of the city’s only professional orchestra, the Quincy Bay Chamber Orchestra, which is dedicated to performing concerts in collaboration with various Quincy organizations and businesses.

Dr. Case served as a full-time member of the ENC Music Department from 2004-2009, winning two ENC Teaching Excellence Awards. In addition to his role at ENC, he is currently Asst. Prof. of Music at Wheaton College. For more information, visit: www.delvyncase.com
