Eastern Nazarene College Welcomes Transfer Applicants
Transferring to Eastern Nazarene College is an excellent choice for completing your bachelor’s degree. As a transfer student, you will experience the same high-quality education, world-class environment, and close-knit community enjoyed by all our students.

We believe your transition to Eastern Nazarene College should be as comfortable and straightforward as possible. Therefore, ENC provides:

  • a full-time transfer counselor

  • a commitment to initial transcript evaluation within 48 hours of receipt

  • a $5,000 transfer scholarship for students with a transfer GPA of at least 3.0

Transfer applicants must be in good academic, financial, and social standing at all institutions previously attended, and should have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale). To gain admission to Eastern Nazarene College, transfer applicants are required to submit the following:

  • Application for Admission and Financial Aid
    Complete our online application, or contact the Office of Admissions to request a paper application.

  • College/University Transcripts
    Transcript Request Form pdf
    Official transcripts must be submitted in sealed envelopes from all colleges and/or universities previously attended. Within 48 hours of receipt, each transcript will be evaluated by our Registrar for transferability of credits. A Transfer Evaluation Report will then be mailed to your primary address.

  • Academic/Character Recommendation Form

    Eastern Nazarene College requires that a Recommendation Form be submitted on your behalf by a non-family member who can attest to your academic ability and character.

  • Personal Statement or Personal Interview
    As a final stage in the application process, you must choose to either submit a written personal statement or conduct a personal interview with an admission professional. Personal interviews will be conducted in the Office of Admissions at Eastern Nazarene College; please contact us several days in advance to schedule your interview appointment. Should you wish to complete a written personal statement, please respond, in no more than 500 words, to the following statement: Describe why you are interested in attending Eastern Nazarene College, what attributes you have that will enhance the campus community, and how you plan to succeed in your college career.
