Where are you from?
Morgantown, W.Va.
What was your major?
Sociology, with minors in psychology and management
What were your favorite ENC activities?
I enjoyed being a resident assistant, playing varsity basketball, and serving as the social life rep. for class council, which allowed me to make a fool of myself publicly.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Having the privilege to step into the current chapter of a student's life as he or she transitions from high school to college. There are such great stories and a lot of hope.
What are your favorite Boston pastimes?
Favorite??? That's difficult because there's so much to see and do, but some of my favorite days have been spent wandering the back streets of the North End, eating gelato, and listening to store owners speak in Italian. I also love to go see shows in the theater district.
What advice would you give to an incoming ENC student?
Your college experience is what you make it. Therefore, open your eyes to the many perspectives of your fellow classmates. There’s so much to learn outside of the classroom: get involved, get out of your comfort zone, and serve your campus and the city of Boston. You'll never have another time in life quite like college.

Get involved. Plug into the events and ministries happening on campus. Your college experience is what you put into it. Also, take time to study abroad. I didn't and wish I had!
