The decision for admission will be made on the basis of the documentation you submit. It is necessary for you to complete all items listed in this checklist and submit them to the Office of Admissions before an admission decision can be made. We encourage you to begin the application process following your junior year or early in your senior year of high school.

  • Application for Admission and Financial Aid - This must be completed by you. Click here for the online application, or contact the admissions department for the admissions portfolio.
  • Priority Deadline for Depositing - May 1 - Depositing by May 1st provides students with the opportunity to attend VIP Orientation on June 20 – 21, 2008.  The earlier a student’s place at ENC is secure, the more options we can afford
them concerning housing assignments, course schedules, and general opportunities.
  • Personal Statement or Personal Interview - As a part of the application process, you may choose to complete either a written personal statement or a personal interview with an admission professional. Personal interviews will be conducted in the Office of Admissions at Eastern Nazarene College; please contact us several days in advance to schedule your interview appointment. Should you wish to complete a written personal statement, please write a response of no more than 500 words to the following statement: Describe why you are interested in attending Eastern Nazarene College, what attributes you have that will add to your college experience, and how you plan to succeed in your college career.
  • Secondary School Transcripts - You must arrange for your guidance counselor to send your secondary school transcripts directly to Eastern Nazarene College. Click here to download a Transcript Request Form. While you may have a transcript sent upon completion of your junior year, and we may make a decision for admission based upon this information, you must arrange for your guidance counselor to send a supplementary transcript listing grades for the first half of your senior year. In order for a transcript to be used in the admission process, it must include grades received and courses in progress to date, as well as your current class rank. Please note: in order for your transcript to be considered "official," it must be submitted to the Office of Admissions in an envelope sealed by your high school official.
  • SAT or ACT scores - Please have an official report of your scores on either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the Assessment Test of the American College Testing Program (ACT) submitted to Eastern Nazarene College. ENC's code for the SAT is 3365 and the ACT is 1818. Scores submitted on official secondary school transcripts may be considered as official. It is recommended that these tests be taken in the junior year or early in the senior year.
  • Academic/Character Recommendation Form - In order to better assess your candidacy for admission to Eastern Nazarene College, we require that a recommendation be submitted on your behalf from a non-family member who can attest to your academic ability and character. We prefer that the recommendation be completed by a teacher, guidance counselor, pastor or other appropriate non-family member. The recommendation form may be downloaded here.
