Wayne C. Griffin • Instructor • Sociology

M.A. Sociology, UMass, Boston
B.A. Sociology, Eastern Nazarene College

Prof. GriffinA graduate of ENC, Professor Griffin came back to teach for many reasons. For instance, as a minority, he feels that his presence at the college demonstrates the efforts ENC is making to become more diverse. Prof. Griffin has been teaching since 1992 and became a full-time faculty member in 2002. Courses he has taught include “Human Diversity” and “Non-Western Cultures.” He loves the harmony he has found with the students of ENC due to their shared morals and beliefs. He has previous business experience doing marketing for Quincy’s city newspaper, The Patriot Ledger, and was a social worker for the City of Quincy. For two years he served on the Minority Diversity Committee for the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. He lives with his wife in Hingham, Mass.
