Michael Holt (Assistant Professor) Business Administration, Interim Dept. Chair

Prof Holt

Professor Holt had previously worked at ENC for 14 years, and he began teaching in the business administration department in the fall of 2004. He left for three years to teach at the University of Phoenix. There he held classes such as Business in Contemporary America and Ethics in Management, as well as others. At ENC he is the head of the business department, teaching Introduction to Marketing, Marketing Communications, Small Business Management, and Marketing Research. He is currently in the process of obtaining a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and he is a member of their student bar association. Though he left for 3 years, he always held out hope that someday the Lord would open the door to return. He lives in Quincy with his wife and children.

William J. Driscoll (Instructor) Business Administration

Prof DriscollAfter three years as an adjunct, professor Driscoll has joined ENC as a member of the full-time business administration faculty. He brings with him nearly 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in the construction, real estate, and storage businesses. In addition to the Business law and Entrepreneurship classes he has taught in the past, professor Driscoll will be lecturing in accounting, finance, and small business management. He is the father of three boys (Bill Jr., John, and Jamie) and lives in Quincy, MA.

Joseph E. Goulart (Part-Time Professor) Business Administration

Mr. Goulart's experience prior to Eastern Nazarene College includes Vice President of Marketing and Personnel as well as Acting Controller and Auditor of New England Financial. He also completed the Northeastern University Center for Management and the University of Chicago's MBO Program. He was a sales representative for Adressograph Multigraph Company and the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. Mr. Goulart also served in many other capacities such as on the Finance Committee for the Town of Braintree, MA, as Vice President of the Big Brother Association of Boston, and President of the Board of Trustees for Thayer Academy in Braintree, MA. He is a Registered Representative with the National Association of Security Dealers and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. He lives in Hingham, MA.

Jan Weisen (Assistant Professor) Business Administration

Prof WeisenProfessor Weisen began teaching at Eastern Nazarene College in 2006 after traveling the country and the world. His prior professional experience includes 10 years serving on the administrative staff of Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash. He spent 15 years as a missionary with the Church of the Nazarene in Swaziland, Africa; Bucharest, Romania; and Busingen, Switzerland. He teaches Managerial Accounting, Consumer Behavior, Global Management and Marketing at ENC. In his free time, he enjoys reading, photography, videography and editing, and almost any outdoor physical activity. He lives in Quincy, Mass., with his wife.
