  1. Museum of Science
    1. The mission of the Museum of Science, Boston is to stimulate interest in and further understanding of science and technology and their importance for individuals and for society.
    2. To accomplish this educational mission, the staff, volunteers, overseers and trustees of the Museum are dedicated to attracting the broadest possible spectrum of participants, and involving them in activities, exhibits and programs which will:
    3. encourage curiosity, questioning and exploration,
    4. inform and educate,
    5. enhance a sense of personal achievement in learning,
    6. respect individual interests, backgrounds and abilities, and
    7. promote life-long learning and informed and active citizenship.
    All this is offered in the spirit that learning is exciting and fun at the Museum of Science.

    1. The Current Science & Technology Center is a place where you can find out more about science and technology in the news... and catch up on the leading edge in research and exploration. Located in the Blue Wing of the Museum of Science, Boston, the Center offers exhibits, live events, video, animation, digital updates and live links to researchers in the field.

    1. The Biology Department at Boston College is a unique department, combining a powerful and expanding research environment with the strength of a department that is fully committed to undergraduate and graduate education. The Biology Department, which is housed in the newly renovated and expanded Higgins Hall, has a wide variety of state-of-the-art equipment for use by students and faculty. The faculty is dynamic and highly dedicated, combining cutting-edge research (many of the faculty members are funded by the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and/or the American Cancer Society) with skills in teaching and student mentorship. Faculty members passionately pursue a dual mission of serving society through research discoveries and serving students through teaching and research supervision. Undergraduate and graduate students at Boston College enjoy a unique atmosphere, a mixture of academic rigor and personal connection, that provides them with excellent preparation for successful careers in a wide range of fields, including medical and health sciences, scientific research, biotechnology, teaching, journalism, and law.

    1. Biology Online is a choice source for biological information, ideal for homework, research projects and general interest. The site is currently separated into four main areas, each offering a different way for you to look up biological information.
