Jen Ibanez Whitlock

After graduating from ENC in 2005, Jen worked for a year with Maryland Legal Aid Bureau in Baltimore before enrolling in the Northeastern University School of Law, where she was one of four recipients of the school's highly competitive Public Interest Law scholarship. As a law student, she completed internships with the Massachusetts Superior Court, the Political Asylum Immigration and Representation Project (PAIR), and the Department of Justice's Executive Office of Immigration Review. After graduating from law school in 2009, she worked at the Boston law firm of Barker, Epstein, Loscocco & McHaffey, where she provided representation to immigrants before the Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services agency. She was also active as the co-liaison for the Asylum Committee of the New England Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Since moving to St. Louis, Missouri in July of 2013, she has been working as legal counsel for the office of Hacking Law Practice, LLP.
