How do I use the CCP?

The CCP is a wonderful tool to obtain insiders’ job information from ENC alumni who are interested in sharing their career insights with current ENC students and alumni. Most CCP information continues to be housed in the Brickley Center and can be accessed by visiting our office and perusing CCP binders, by calling our office at 617-745-3892 and requesting information, or by emailing us your request. A limited number of members have completed our online CCP membership form and their information can now be accessed via this website. Whether you peruse this website or CCP binders located in the Brickley Center you will be able to obtain information regarding current employment, employment history, the job market, and advanced schooling of ENC alumni.

Current ENC students and alumni can also arrange to contact CCP members directly for further discussion and/or an informational interview by contacting our office at 617-745-3892 or by sending us an email.

  • Describe what you do on a daily basis.
  • What is the greatest reward and the toughest demand of your job?
  • What advice would you have for getting into this field?
  • Is there anything you would have done differently to get to where you are?
  • How is the job outlook in this field?
  • If your job was eliminated, what other kinds of work could you do?
  • What professional associations would you recommend I join?
  • How do people find out about jobs in this line of work?
  • If I could not get into this kind of job right away, where would you recommend I get some further experience?
  • Can you recommend other people for me to talk to?

Be sure to end the interview on time (within 30 minutes).
  1. Sincerely thank your interviewee.
  2. Send your interviewee a thank you note the evening of your interview.

Other Guidelines (adapted from The Complete Job-Search Handbook, Figler):
