Sorensen, a '72 ENC Alum, takes over the reigns of the Softball Program. Coach Sorensen was a two sport athlete himself playing Baseball and Soccer while earning a BA at ENC and a MS at the University of Wisconsin. A down to earth person and competitive coach, he is excited about working with the team and promoting the Crusader Softball program into The Commonwealth Coast Conference Playoffs, of which the team narrowly missed last season. |

Assistant Coach: Rebecca Welch Welch graduated from ENC in 2007 with a degree in Sports Management. Having played Softball and Basketball for the Crusaders for four straight seasons, Welch captained the 2007 Softball team. Welch hit a solid .293, .333 and .365 in her sophomore, junior and senior years being named a TCCC All-Conference Player in her junior and senior seasons. From Norton, Mass., Welch graduated from New Testament Christian School in 2003, and just finished her first season as the Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach. She is joining the Crusader Softball coaching staff and looking forward to continuing the upward trend of the Crusaders Softball Program in the TCCC. |
