Coach K is entering her second year as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Eastern Nazarene College. Coach K’s coaching philosophy can be summed up in three words–spirit, mind, body. “I want to establish a program that will maximize the potential of the team by encouraging and fostering the development of each individual; spiritually intellectually, and athletically. Winning is just a by product of success.” Coach K believes that the success of the program is determined by four things:
•How well we prepare
•How hard we play
•How smart we play
•How well we play together
Coach K graduated from Florida A&M University in 2002 where she also played Division 1 basketball on full scholarship and has since earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons College.
