Head Coach: Matthew Kutt (1st year) Matthew.Kutt@enc.edu

Coach Kutt takes over in his first year at ENC as the Crusader Baseball Programs Head Coach.  He comes from an experienced background as an educator, coach and athlete.

Coach Kutt graduated with a Masters in Education from Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, CA) in 2002, a BS in Health and Physical Education from Frostburg State University (Frostburg, MD) in 1993 and an AA in Communications from Palm Beach Community College (West Palm Beach, FL) in 1988.

A native of West Brookfield, MA., Kutt spent four years as a player/asst. coach with the Palm Beach Bulldogs (1987-1990), a semi-pro team of the NBC Premier League in South Florida, before transitioning into coaching and teaching as a full time career.  He assisted with the San Diego Mavericks of the Western Semi-Pro Baseball League (1998-2001), San Diego City College (2001-2003) and Amherst College (2003-2004).

As head coach, Kutt led both Santa Fe Christian School/San Diego, CA (1998-2001) and Asheville Christian Academy/Asheville, NC (2004-2007) to League Championships and multiple playoff performances.

His approach toward managing student-athletes will not be any different, “My approach is in leading with a servant’s heart.  I hope to bring out the very best in each of these young men, not only for success in baseball but more importantly for life and their future endeavors."

Kutt teaches in the Department of Movement Arts and instructs at clinics and camps as well as provides personal training with aspiring athletes.

Matt and his wife, Claire and their daughter, Alana will be joining the ENC community  this August.
