Eastern Nazarene's runners fleet of foot.

 

October 11, 2008.  Bristol, RI.  Crusaders Luke Dodge (Sagamore Beach, Mass.) and Chris Reilly (Keene, NH) churned out top 20 finish's in the Roger Williams University Invitational in Bristol, RI this Saturday.  Dodge ran the 8k course and crossed the finish line in 29:26.31, good enough for a 13th place finish while Reilly squeaked out 19th as he finished in 29:55.83 by edging ahead of the 20th place runner by less than 2 seconds.

 

On the women's team, Crusader Lauren Yerdon (Holden, Mass.) kicked in the teams best time with a time of 28:37.74 finish over the 5K course, finishing 78th out of 124 runners.

 

Eastern Nazarene comepetes again on Friday, October 17th at the Emmanuel College Invitational held at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.

 

 

Eastern Nazarene's Dodge and Cornell are fast out of the gate.

 

September 13, 2008.  Buzzard's Bay, Mass.  The Eastern Nazarene Cross Country Teams opened the season today at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Invitational with Senior's Ashley Cornell (Bolton, Mass.) and Luke Dodge (Sagamore Beach, Mass.) leading the teams.  Cornell ran a fast 27:30 5K to be the first Crusader to cross the finish line and Dodge cruised through the 8K course finishing in 28:16 for a 12th place finish.

 

On Dodge's heels was Crusader Chris Reilly (Keene, NH) who came across :10 seconds later to finish in 14th place.

 

The team heads down to Dartmouth, Mass. next week for their second meet of the season as they run in the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational.
