Men's Basketball vs. Gordon, 1/19/08

The Crusaders broke a six game losing slide and handed Gordon College its' first conference loss of the season in an 82-69 triumph in front of a packed and frenzied Lahue PE Center.  ENC shot a sizzling 58.7 percent from the field and an 69.2 percent from 3-pt range (teams best all season in both categories).  The Crusaders' defense was equally as effective, holding Gordon to 39 percent shooting, their second worst during conference play.  The victory was ENC's first over the Scots in four years and five attempts.

Softball vs. NEC, 4/9/08

The Crusader softball team created what will perhaps be one of the programs most memorable games ever.  Being down 5-0 in the third inning, the Crusaders belted three home runs to tie the game at 5-5 before the Pilgrims would change pitchers.  But the next batter, Hannah Rauchfuss would continue the home run derby as she belted the Crusaders fourth home run of the inning to give the Crusaders the 6-5 lead.

The Pilgrims would score two in the fourth to retake the lead at 7-6.  The Crusaders returned the favor in the sixth inning with their fifth home run of the game from FR Laura Giberson to retake the lead at 8-7.  The Pilgrims scored two more in the top of the seventh again regaining the lead, 9-8, but the Crusaders were relentless in their belief and focus.  An RBI single by Rauchfuss in the bottom of the seventh completed the incredible 10-9 comeback that the Crusaders had managed with the help of their long ball.

Women's Soccer vs. AMC, 9/8/07

In their first conference game of the season, the Crusaders being down 0-3 to the AMCats did their own scratching and clawing to get back into this away game.  With their keeper red carded and now down a player, the Crusaders fought back to tie the game at 3-3.  After going down by another goal and trailing 4-3, the Crusaders again fought back to tie it up at 4-4 where it would end after going through double overtime.
