Information

SR, Luc Jasmin-

Men's Basketball

 

After returning from a leg fracture, the pride of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, finished second on the team in scoring, rebounding and offensive rebounds. Luc shot a team high 54 percent from the field, fifth best in the conference. He also finished 13th in the league in rebounding and 18th in scoring. And on February 16 at Nichols College, the co-captain became the 28th men's basketball player to surpass 1,000 career points.
 

SR, Jean-Paul Marcellus-Men's Basketball

JP was a numbers machine, leading the team in scoring (14.0 pts/g) rebounding (10.6 rebs/g), free throws made and free throws attempted.  He was the Crusaders top scorer in 13 games and led the team in rebounds on 19 of 25 games.  He earned All-TCCC Honorable Mention Team by leading the The Commonwealth Coast Conference in total rebounding, offensive rebounding and free throw attempts.  He finished second in the TCCC in made free throws and double-doubles (achieving double digits in both points and rebounding in a game), while ending the season 12th in scoring and 15th in steals.

Additionally, JP finished ranked18th nationally in total rebounds in NCAA Division III basketball.

JR, Jack Sahlman-

Men's Tennis

Jack was 9 and 8 in singles play this year.  He played #3 singles for the Crusaders, and twice played at #2 singles winning on each occasion.  In two of his losses to top TCCC teams, (WNEC and Nichols) he took the opponents into three sets before losing.  Once against another top TCCC opponent (RWU), Jack lost closely in two sets.

In doubles play, Jack was a 5 and 12 while playing at #1 doubles, against opponents top doubles team.
