Women's Volleyball

Casey led the Crusaders to a 3-2 best of 5 games victory over TCCC opponents Wentworth October 16th, 2008.  She had 27 kills (13 more than any other player), 9 defensive digs and 3 blocks.  She finished the match with a hitting percentage of 43% with only 4 hitting errors , having scored 31 of the 81.5 points for the Crusaders.

JR, Danielle Koers-

Women's Soccer

Danielle had 5 goals and 1 assist during a home contest vs. Mitchell College on October 16th, 2008.  The final score of the game was 6-3 and without Koers' incredible domination, the games outcome very well could have been different.  On a day where the Crusaders struggled to keep the ball out of their own net, Danielle put the team on her back, scored nearly two hat-tricks, far from a common occurrence, and refused to accept loss as an outcome for the Crusaders this day.

JR, Hannah Rauchfuss-Softball

In the bottom of the seventh inning of game two against New England College, with two outs and trailing 5-2, Hannah hit a 3 run homerun to tie the game at 5-5, sending it into extra innings where the Crusaders would emerge victorious by the score of 6-5 in inning eight.

FR, Jacqueline Tierney-Softball

In their April 8th contest vs. Anna Maria College, Jacqueline led the Crusaderrs to their first TCCC win of the season while going 2 for 4 with a double, two steals and a home run.  With 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored, the Crusaders won 9-3.  Starting the season slowly, what ensued following this game was a 8-10 record over the remainder of the season.
