Dear ENC Community members,

In response to the current economic climate, Eastern Nazarene College is pleased to announce a one-million-dollar stimulus package* for financial aid. Wishing to couple empathy with action, the Board of Trustees approved a zero percent increase in tuition, fees, and room and board for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Each and every student is a valued member of our community of learners. This decision reflects our desire to respond sensitively to the financial needs of our students in honor of their pursuit of degrees at Eastern Nazarene College.

At ENC, every student receives financial aid. By holding the cost of attendance constant and continuing to increase available scholarships, we are making every effort to provide an affordable, quality, Christian liberal arts education.

Eastern Nazarene College is committed to wise financial stewardship. We are able to offer these savings to you through careful budgeting and the trimming of non-essential costs. Our efforts will focus upon best-practice techniques in all areas with careful attention to retaining high quality and service. We stand by our mission to provide the best in Christian education in order to inspire lives of faith, service, and integrity.

We know that there are still hard times ahead for many. Please know that our prayers are with you. We sincerely hope that these measures help to ease your burden. If you have any questions about financial aid at Eastern Nazarene College, please contact Dana Parker, Director of Financial Aid, at or 1-617-745-3869.

In His name,

Corlis McGee
