Quincy, MA Feb. 18, 2008 - ENC students Phillip Nase and Ashley Jardim attended the Compassionate Ministry Leadership Summit at Nazarene Theological Seminary this week. Their professors elected them to participate. At the summit, there were representatives from each of the Nazarene colleges/universities in the United States and Canada. It was designed to equip and develop leaders in the area of compassionate ministry and social justice.
This event was co-sponsored by Nazarene Compassionate Ministries and Nazarene Theological Seminary. The event was offered free of charge to students who were nominated by the faculties of their respective college/university. Thirty students participated in this first-of-its-kind event. The Compassionate Ministry Leadership Summit was offered in conjunction with the Nees Lectures in Social Justice, presented at Nazarene Theological Seminary by Dr. Tom Nees.
