secure wireless network access for campus
community members. Wireless connectivity
is now available in all campus buildings,
and in a few select outdoor locations.

Version
upgrade for Sophos Antivirus!
There is now an important version
upgrade available for Sophos Antivirus.
The old version of Sophos will not be
supported after February 28, 2007, so
to ensure that your computer is protected,
please install the new version.

now a blazing 20mbps! This is a bandwidth
increase of nearly 500% over our previous

Email
Over Quota?
Each
email account is allocated 10 MB of
disk space. The sum total of space occupied
by the messages is what matters, not
the number of emails in your Inbox.
Thus, a small number of emails with
very large attachments could cause your
disk quota to max out quickly.You must
delete messages to free up space. It
is your responsibility to keep your
account clean, that is, remove messages
in a timely fashion so that your mailbox

ENC Spam Filtering Service
ENC is rolling out a new spam-filtering
service! In a few days you will notice
messages in your Inbox with the tag
****ENC SPAM**** in the subject
line. These messages have been marked
by ENC's email system as spam, and you
can safely delete them. To save time
however, you can configure your email
client to delete them automatically
or place them in a "quarantine" folder
for later inspection. ENC's two supported
email clients are Thunderbird (for internal

How
do I uninstall ResNet?
If
you will no longer be connecting to
ResNet (you won't be returning to ENC
in the fall, etc.) and you'd like to
