John Polkinghorne was delighted to hear about the creation of the
Polkinghorne
Society at ENC. Yet, due to his wife’s poor health, he was unable
to attend the March 15, 2006, launch of the Society. He sent his
greetings and a brief message via a digital video recording. This
was played to a large audience at ENC before Owen
Gingerich delivered his inaugural address. |
