Flint
Dr. Thomas
Flint, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, has
taught or published
in the areas of philosophical theology, philosophy of religion,
metaphysics,
the history of political theory, and Classical Greek Drama. These
publications
include Divine Providence: The Molinist Account, Christian
Philosophy and Hermes and Athena: Biblical Exegesis
and Philosophical Theology, as well as articles such as Risky
Business:
Open Theism and Incarnation and the forthcoming The Oxford
Handbook
of Philosophical Theology. The latter, which he is co-editing with
his colleague Michael Rea, will be released in 2008. At the conference,
Flint will be defending the classic concept of God, as well as debating
from a philosophical standpoint that God knows the future.
