Strand Winslow
Dr. Karen Strand
Winslow, author of Early Jewish and Christian Memories of
Moses’ Wives:
Exogamist Marriage and Ethnic Identity, is currently Professor
of the Old Testament at the Haggard School of Theology of Azusa Pacific
University. She teaches courses in Biblical and Jewish Studies and
Women in Ministry. She served as chair of Jewish and Christian Studies
at Greenville College, where she was Associate Professor of Religion
and History. She also taught for many years at Seattle Pacific
University. Winslow graduated
with her Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 2003 with an
additional emphasis in the sociology of religion. At the conference,
she
will be debating the view that God knows the future, using biblical
texts that demonstrate God responds to people as they make choices,
pray, or otherwise influence outcomes. |
