Randall Tan
Randall Tan, who received his Ph.D. from the Southern
Baptist Theologica l Seminary, is assistant
professor of biblical studies at Kentucky Christian University in
Grayson, Kentucky. Prior to his appointment at KCU, he served as an
adjunct faculty member at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and
Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, and as assistant editor of
The Southern
Baptist Journal of Theology. He has contributed a number of
scholarly articles and co-authored The
Pauline Writings: An Annotated Bibliography with Mark A.
Seifrid. He also co-annotated the OpenText.org Syntactically Annotated
Greek New Testament
with Matthew Brook O'Donnell.
Dr. Tan's hometown is Penang, an island off the northwest coast of
peninsular Malaysia. He became a Christian through the ministry of
Campus Crusade for Christ and his own reading of the Bible while he was
a freshman at the University of Kentucky. At the conference, he will be
debating from a biblical standpoint in favor of the position that God
has comprehensive knowledge of the future. |
