Brint
Montgomery received a BA in Philosophy from Northwest Nazarene University,
an M.Div. in Philosophical Theology from Nazarene Theological Seminary,
and an MA and Ph.D. in Philosophy of Mind from University of Oklahoma in
2002 for research invovling consciousness in split-brain patients.
He is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Southern Nazarene University
in northwestern Oklahoma City. Montgomery is past president of the
Wesleyan Philosophical Society and currently serves as editor of that society's
online journal. He has published on the cosmological argument and
on recent work in brain development and cognition. Montgomery's personal
research has focused on data mining with genetic algorithms for evolving
logic conditionals.
