Meal Plan Fact Sheet 2009-2010
Eastern Nazarene College and Pioneer College Caterers offer a selection of 6 meal plans to better serve the students of Eastern Nazarene College.
The Full 20 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $2236 Fall and January Term, $1788 Spring
Provides the opportunity to enjoy all 20 meals served in the dining hall on a weekly basis.
The Block 240/210 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $2236 Fall and January Term, $1788 Spring
Entitles students to 240 meals for the Fall and January Term semester and 210 meal for the Spring semester. The benefits ... meals are counted by the semester offering greater flexibility, and friends and family can eat on this plan (up to 5 guest meals per meal period, i.e., lunch).
Note: the above block plan does not provide 3 meals per day for the entire semester.
The Partial 14 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $2036 Fall and January Term, $1623 Spring
Provides the opportunity to enjoy up to 14 meals served in the dining hall on a weekly basis.
The Block 190/160 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $2036 Fall and January Term, $1623 Spring
Entitles students to 190 meals for the Fall and January Term semester and 160 meal for the Spring semester. The benefits ... meals are counted by the semester offering greater flexibility, and friends and family can eat on this plan (up to 5 guest meals per meal period, i.e., lunch).
Note: the above block plan does not provide 2 meals per day for the entire semester.
The Partial 10 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $1870 Fall and January Term, $1566 Spring
Provides the opportunity to enjoy up to 10 meals served in the dining hall on a weekly basis.
The Block 135/115 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $1870 Fall and January Term, $1566 Spring
Entitles students to 135 meals for the Fall and January Term semester and 115 meal for the Spring semester. The benefits ... meals are counted by the semester offering greater flexibility, and friends and family can eat on this plan (up to 5 guest meals per meal period, i.e., lunch).
Note: the above block plan does not provide 10 meals per week for the entire semester.
Exchange Meals:
- All meal plans entitle students to 25 exchange meals per semester in the Dugout. Exchange meals are available 11:00am - 3:00pm and 5:00pm - 9:00pm Monday through Friday, and are counted in place of a cafeteria meal. These are not additional meals but part of each meal plan.
Special Notes:
- Unused meals for all plans are non-transferable from one semester to the next.
- Meal plans cannot be reduced after the 100% drop/add period, the first Friday of the semester. They can however, be increased (ie.10 to 14, 14 to 20) up to the second Friday of the semester.
- Under the Block Plans, you will be charged for a meal every time you enter the dining hall even if it is just to have a Pepsi and to sit and talk or study. Under the 20 & 14 meal options, 'seconds' are allowed, i.e. entering the dining hall for a second time during a single lunch period has no impact on your total available meals.
- If not attending January Term, student can fill out the J Term Meal Refund form with the Cashier.
Declining Balance Accounts:
Residential Students, Commuter Students, Faculty, and Staff are all able to apply a balance to an account whereby meal payment is transacted by swiping their ID Card during a meal and/or at the Dug Out. Purchases can be made through the Director of Food Service whose office is located outside The Commons or at the Cashier's Office located in Gardner Hall. The student school account cannot be used to purchase declining balance accounts; only cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
