What Are We Going To Be Doing During This Track and When?

Day 1

Various activities that will:
  • Affirm why we need to care for creation
  • Provide tools for teaching others about caring for creation
  • Make participants aware of things they can do to lessen their impact on creation

Day 2

The Conservation and Restoration of Biodiversity - why is it important and what can we do about it?
  • 90 minute educational program with the St. Louis Zoo, learning about endangered species and conservation
  • 60 minute walk through the Kennedy Forest and Savanna with Forest Park Forever staff, learning how concerned scientists and citizens came together to restore this grassland

Day 3

Service-learning projects that benefit the local community and creation:
  • Planting flowers and mulching flower beds with the Flora Conservancy
  • Removing invasive species with the Forest Park Forever staff
