Nazarene Youth Congress - Caring For God's Earth Track

Welcome to the official web site of the "Caring For God's Earth" Track for the 2007 Nazarene Youth Congress.  This web site has been initiated to provide track participants with additional information that will help them to prepare for this track in advance.  In addition, this web site contains information the participants can refer to after they return to their homes and prepare to engage in creation care projects in their churches and communities.

The purpose for the "Caring For God's Earth" Track is (1) to make Nazarene youth aware of God's call on their lives to take care of the earth and (2) to challenge the participants to actively care for creation in their homes, churches, schools, and communities.

The buttons on the left are your guide to this web site and the information you need to be familiar with before the track starts.  Here is what to expect when you click on these buttons:

Preparation - how to prepare in advance for the track to get the most out of it
Creation Care Background Info - Gives some background on the biblical basis for environmental stewardship
Schedule - The types of activities that we will be doing during the track and where they fit in the schedule
What To Bring - Items you should bring with you for the track and your own comfort
Helpful Links - Connect with other organizations that are caring for the environment and other species
Taking Action - ideas for creation care projects in your own community from a variety of sources

We hope you find this web site to be a helpful resource, both as you get ready for NYC, and afterwards, when you want to put what you have learned into action.

One more thing - check this web site often, as it will be updated periodically with new information.
