Troy, New York.

What were your favorite ENC activities?
I enjoyed going on a Spring Break mission trip to the Dominican Republic. I also enjoyed J-term basketball, working in the Library's Instructional Resource Center, and spending time with friends.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
First, I love planning Campus Visits! Second, I truly enjoy bringing students to an academic community that will challenge, strengthen, and encourage them.

What are your favorite Boston pastimes?
I have to say that coming from an Italian family, the North End is definitely my most favorite part of Boston. The restaurants and pastry shops have delicious food and the streets and beautiful buildings provide a spectacular ambience. I also enjoy simply exploring Boston. There is always something new to enjoy.

What advice would you give to an incoming ENC student?
Before I left for college my sister said to me, "College will be the best four years of your life, so enjoy it!" She was definitely right. Being at ENC provides you with a multitude of academic, social, and ministerial opportunities. It is a time of learning and growth. It is a place where you are free to become exactly who God created you to be. Be open to the opinions of others and make a choice to let it be a great time in your life.

What were your favorite ENC activities?
I loved being a part of ENC’s Gospel Choir! This group of students loves to worship and share God’s joy, and during my years as a student they became my extended family. I also had the chance to be a Resident Assistant for 3 years and truly loved getting to know my residents and forming lasting friendships with them. My senior year I worked for the Nautilus yearbook as the Layout Designer, and I really enjoyed getting creative and compiling student’s memories into something they are able to keep and look back on in the future with family and friends. However, my favorite ENC memories often revolve around frozen yogurt dates with my roommates.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I really enjoy meeting new students and their families. I like finding out the ways in which ENC is a great match for them; whether that be through our challenging academics, our athletic teams, or the great spiritual community and ministry opportunities ENC offers. I love coming to work knowing this community has a common focus—to serve Jesus and love now, as He is loving us.

What are your favorite Boston pastimes?
During my first trip into Boston I visited the Boston Commons and walked through the Boston Public Garden with my family. Having seen many different parts of Boston during my years as a student, the Commons is still my favorite place. I love filling up my backpack with my Bible, journal, a good book and a blanket, and heading into the city for a few hours.

What advice would you give to an incoming ENC student?
Much of your college experience will be shaped by the activities you chose to get involved in and the people you surround yourself with. Everyone says, “Don’t be afraid to try something new!” and that is so true. Be daring in the ways you serve, the ways you love, and the ways you learn. Challenge yourself to learn more, love more, and serve more during your college years than you ever have before. Growth often takes place when we challenge ourselves to explore the unfamiliar—and that’s exciting!

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love meeting new students, working in a Christian environment, and helping students figure out their future!

The relationships that I make with both current and incoming students. Being able to watch students on their path to self discovery is very rewarding, and I consider myself lucky to be a part of the ride.

What are your favorite Boston pastimes?

Sporting events would have to be one of my favorites. You haven't experienced the real spirit of Boston until you see masses of excited Bostonians gather together rooting for the same cause. I also love the changing seasons. Coming from SoCal I find it very refreshing to experience something other than HOT year round. =)

What advice would you give to an incoming ENC student?

Take advantage of every opportunity you have to get involved on campus. By experiencing new things you will learn more about yourself!
