Owen Gingerich is Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and History of Science at Harvard University.  He will examine the intellectual controversy over the Book of Nature versus the Book of Scripture, novel scientific interpretations versus a highly literal reading of the Bible.  The talk is sponsored by the Polkinhorne Society and is free and open to the public.  Read more . . .
