Stephen A. Wilson (91) is a Family Physician who sees patients at Lincoln-Lemington Family Health Care Center in Pittsburgh, PA. He is the Director of the University of Pittsburgh Department of Family Medicine Faculty Development Fellowship, Director of Medical Decision-Making at the UPMC St. Margaret Family Medicine Residency, and Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, where he received both the Doctor of Medicine degree and Master of Public Health degree. He completed his Family Medicine Residency and Faculty Development Fellowship at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. At ENC Stephen majored in General Science while minoring in English, Psychology, and Religion. He and his wife, Kristen (Rydwansky, 92) have two daughters, Sage and Teyah.

Born in Jamaica, Stephen is the oldest of 3 children born to Christian parents, Samuel and Beverly Wilson, who traded Jamaica for Lexington, KY so his father could attend Asbury Theological Seminary. They expected to return to Jamaica, but God had different plans. After founding Gethsemane Church of the Nazarene in Lexington, the family moved to Queens, NY where his father pastored Springfield Gardens Church of the Nazarene. Stephen's siblings, Paul Wilson and Allison Wilson Harrison, are both ENC alumni (94).

After attending South Hills Church of the Nazarene for a number of years, they felt a call from the Lord to relocate to Allegheny Center Alliance Church on Pittsburgh's north-side, where the family is currently actively involved in worship, discipleship, service, and fellowship activities.

According to Dr. Wilson, "ENC is where I met my partner for life, made friends for life, and prepared for the rest of his life. God led me to ENC for many reasons: some for myself; some for other people; some He is only now revealing. Recollections and reminiscences could go on and on; however, most importantly, and in fact the only thing of importance or consequence, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior to whom, through whom, and for whom I am eternally grateful and indebted. Our relationship started as a child and I am humbled to be an undeserving recipient of his grace, lovingkindness, and tender mercies. Without Him I am nothing. To God is all the glory.”
