Margaret (Peg Bray, 64) Bowen is the Director of ESL and an Associate Professor at Nyack College-NYC where she also is Director of the summer English Language Institute. Previously, she was Director of Freshman Writing and Assistant Professor of English at ENC and a Visiting Professor of English at Korea Nazarene University. After graduating magna cum laude with her B.A. in English and German from ENC, Peg attained the same academic honors with her M.A. degree in Theological Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She then studied Applied Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts-Boston, graduating summa cum laude with an M.A. degree. Peg’s vocational history includes time as a freelance copy editor, medical texts proofreader, health systems librarian and editor, and teaching English at Rockport, MA High School and at Broadmeadows in the Quincy, MA Public schools. She has served on the ENC Alumni Association, in various church leadership roles, and as a New England District Advisory Board member. She and husband, John (64), have two sons.
