Lambert Brandes is currently a Full-Professor of Music at Eastern Nazarene College where he has served on the faculty since 1966, and as Music Department Chair from 2000-2009.
He holds a B.Mus. in Organ Performance from Eastern Nazarene College where he studied organ with Barclay Frederic Wood, and a M.Mus. in Higher Education and Music Theory from The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston where he studied organ with Donald Willing.
A member of the America Guild of Organists, he has performed numerous recitals and concert performances, the most notable of which include performances at the University of Vienna in Austria with a U.S Government appointed Tour Chorus, performances at Disney World, and a performance of his own compositions before an audience of 15,000 at the Charlotte Coliseum in North Carolina.
Professor Brandes served as organist/choirmaster at Bethany Congregational Church and at First Presbyterian Church in Quincy, Massachusetts. He has also served as organist/choirmaster at Saint Luke's Episcopal Church and at Christ Lutheran Church in Scituate, Massachusetts. Professor Brandes is currently organist at The Wollaston Church of the Nazarene on the campus of Eastern Nazarene College.
