- Professor Henck has been teaching at ENC since 1996. Among the courses she has taught at ENC are Journalism I and II, Great Novels, and African-American Literature. From 1997 to 2000 she was advisor to the Campus Camera, ENC's student newspaper. Previously she has taught English as a Second Language in Japan, and taught freshman composition at Baylor University and at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. She is currently revising her dissertation for publication. Professor Henck has worked in the field of journalism, as a reporter, feature writer, and columnist. Among the newspapers she has written for are the Brockton Enterprise, Taunton Daily Gazette, and the Mariner Newspapers. She has also worked at the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Transportation, as a documentation specialist. She lives in Quincy with her husband and two daughters.
